Pacific View Update

For PVS Cleanup # 2 on Saturday the 17th it was literally a day of digging in. Under the guidance of Brad Roth and Mark Wisniewski of the Cottonwood Creek Conservancy, a crew of 29 EACEA volunteers dug, shoveled, scraped, and hauled dirt all morning to install erosion control straw wattles on the northwest corner of Pacific View. This proved timely as we received an unseasonable douse of rain from the remnants of Hurricane Paine within days of installation. Happy to report the new wattles performed as rated, keeping the bare soil surrounding the school in place until we can plant drought-tolerant Southern California natives to enhance Pacific View and the surrounding neighborhood. Copy of EACEA Volunteers Installing Erosion Wattles Along North Side Of PVS.Copy of Dave Kaplan Of Surf Dog Records.Copy of Installed Wattles Along E-Street Verge.

We wanted to give special thanks to our Mayor and City Council, who voted unanimously to approve our Right Of Entry last February and who have joined us on the frontline to help reboot Pacific View as a world class arts and ecology center.
