PACIFIC VIEW SCHOOL FIRST OF FALL WORK PARTY

Summer’s done so now that temps have cooled down it’s time to get back to gettin’ it done at PVS! This coming Saturday the 30th, 8:00 am to 12:00 noon, we will be conducting a 360-degree perimeter clean-up and landscape weeding to complement the newly installed shade cloth and professionally trimmed trees. We’ll also be prepping the verge for wildflower seeding in advance of the (hopefully) winter rains. For the interior we’ll be digging into the Reception Room (the former school library) for a thorough clean-up and organization.

At the 10-o’clock break the Encinitas Arts Culture and Ecology Alliance will be giving a short presentation to interested neighbors and volunteers, updating on recent site rehabilitation, entitlements and creating the Pacific View Academy Of Arts.

Dress comfortably with closed-toed shoes and bring a hat and gloves. Sunscreen provided. All volunteers must sign a release waiver. Under-18’s welcomed with signed consent of a parent or guardian. We’ll be offering orange slices and refreshing ambient water from our on-site atmospheric humidity extraction unit donated by Ambient Water of San Diego.
